The long awaited ‘Bangladesh Water Rule 2018’ got approved. Bangladesh Water Rules 2018 was prepared and finalised following the Bangladesh Water Act, 2013. The Water Resources Planning Organization (WARPO) of the Ministry of Water Resources has taken the lead coordination role to make it happen and organised a number of consultations with relevant sector actors. DORP has contributed to the process and provided a number of recommendations on the draft.
