The present paper has analysed the Central Finance Commission and State Finance Commission Grants and budgetary provisioning through Centrally Sponsored Schemes like National Health Mission, Integrated Child Development Services and Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan for WASH facilities in institutions for Gaya district of Bihar and put forward relevant policy suggestions for action.
